Domino’s Relocates to River Market

The new Domino's at 538 Grand features a dining area for 30 people.

Domino’s is slinging pizzas in the River Market from a new location at 551 Grand, a shift  from its previous site in the former City Center Square office tower.

The franchise opened last spring on the ground level of the new 531 Grand apartment project, a move that has helped both its delivery drivers and customers, said Steve Covey, director of operations.

The previous location was inside the food court at the office building at 1100 Main which has been undergoing extensive renovation and has been rebranded lightwell. The new location offers parking in the apartment garage behind it.

“With all the renovations going on and the new owners, for us, it’s a much better situation,” Covey said. “We’re able to serve the entire area because of the (apartment) garage behind the store.

The River Market location also features a 30-person seating area that features an industrial look with high ceilings, a concrete floor and big windows, but hasn’t opened yet because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Pizzas are available for take-out or delivery.

“It’s one of our coolest locations,” Covey said, “but we can’t open up the dining area yet.”

Hours are Sundays through Thursdays, 10:30 a.m. to midnight, and Fridays and Saturdays, 10:30 to 1 a.m.

Domino’s relocated from the former City Market Square building to the ground floor of the new 538 Grand apartment building last spring.
